Tip #1: How to study effectively

Hopefully, you've already taken advantage of all the great, free information available here to start pursuing your dream career.

But what do you do when it's time to study and you're not sure about how to effectively study? I've got a great tip for you. It helped through all my years of college.

Scenario: Biology 101

You're asked to memorize all the information in Chapters 1-4 of your biology textbook for a mid-term. How do you memorize that much material?

The key: Write out questions for yourself!

If you've been in the lectures, you probably have a decent idea which topics are the most relevant. Read through the chapters and when you come across a fact in the book you think you'll need to know, write out a question for yourself that makes you remember that fact.

By the time you're done going through all the chapters, you should have a couple sheets of questions. Now go through your questions and answer them to yourself. Soon, you'll know most, if not all, of the relevant information for your test and you won't get bogged down by all the text in the chapters.

Hope this helps!
